It can hold candies, small gifts, or even a handwritten note. ♥️

This project is so much fun using an SVG cut file I designed.

Whether you're crafting for kids, friends, or someone special, this treat box will surely bring smiles.

For the following steps, I'll be using Cricut Design Space.

If you use Silhouette Studio or a different design software, your steps may be different than mine.

To start, upload the SVG into Cricut Design Space and add it to your Canvas.

As is, the finished box size is 3.75 x 4.75 inches, but the design can be resized as needed.

When designing files, operations cannot be assigned to lines. This means all lines are imported as cut lines.

A few lines need to be changed before the file is cut.

Start by highlighting the entire design and ungroup.

I am not using the front decorative piece, so I deleted it, but it has been included just in case.

The first section I'll focus on is the fry box. The inner lines need to be changed to score lines.

Highlight only the inner lines, click edit, operation, and change the lines to score.

Back on the canvas, you can see that the lines have changed from cut to score.

To finalize this section, highlight the score lines and the fry box shape and attach.

The next section to change is the Be Mine rectangle. The text is a very thin line, so it isn't visible until you highlight that piece.

Highlight only the Be Mine text, and change the operation to draw.

Attach the drawn text and the rectangle behind it.

The pieces are now ready to be drawn, scored, and cut. Click Make it, and choose the material for each mat.

Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space. It will show what tools to load and for what mats.

Here are all of the pieces cut with my Cricut Maker.

The shorter section of the fry box is the front.

Before assembling the fry box, I moved the embellishments around until I had a placement I liked.

Then, piece by piece, I glued them into place.

Use a bone folder to fold along all of the straight score lines.

The curved score lines around the bottom of the box can't be folded with the bone folder, so I used my fingers to create the fold.

On both sides, the flap from the front should be layered on top of the flap from the back, so apply a thin line of glue along the edge of the back flap.

Fold the front flap over the back flap, aligning the bottom edge to the bottom of the box. Hold for a moment until the glue takes hold.

Repeat for the other side of the fry box.
