Print the PDF on white cardstock using your laser printer.

The gray squares are there to act as guidelines when using your paper cutter to cut square tags.

If you want a circle tag, the 2-inch circle punch fits perfectly.

For this project I wanted squares, so I used my paper cutter to cut out the squares.

On each side of the tag, punch a hole.

Wrap the ribbon around the notebook and run the ribbon through the holes on the tag.

Tie a pretty knot and attach the pen to the ribbon.

I just love how pretty this turned out and I think the recipients are going to love it!

I was able to get 7 notebooks for less than $8, a package of 8 pens for $4, and used ribbon from my craft stash.

Overall, I only spent about $1.71 per gift. I Love how cute and inexpensive they were!
