First, download the Free Pot of Gold Printable.
Print out the PDF on a sheet of white paper. I prefer 60 lb cardstock because the paper is thicker than printer paper.
There are 3 gift tags per sheet. Use a paper trimmer to cut around the outside edge of each tag.
Fold each tag in half with a bone folder to get a crisp fold line.
Soak a cotton round with acetone and wipe off the print on the portion control snack bags.
Fill the bags about halfway with your choice of candy.
On the back of the tag, run a strip of adhesive on both sides.
I know it is difficult to see the adhesive in this picture so I have outlined it with pink rectangles.
Line up the end of the candy in the bag with the edge of the tag, and press the bag into the adhesive strip.
Then fold the top of the bag and press to secure the adhesive onto the bag.
You could also use staples to attach the toppers to the bags, but I prefer the tape runner because you can't see it.
Aren't they so cute, and simple to make? Kids and adults will love receiving their treat bags!
